darryl,it was so nice to have received your message. i have
not been up to par since my last message . i have been under
some stress. first i have to take a colonoscopy exam to see
if any polyps have grown in my colon since my last test in
1993 when i had suegery for colon cancer. so dr. bernstein
thnks that it is best for me to take the test and whatever
happens good or bad will be taken care of. i agreed withn
him so i'll take the exam as an out patient thazt will take
about an hour or so and someome from the family will pick me
up for home.hopefully it may be your mom..so it is a naaty

exam as i'' have so much to prepare for it..but i leave
everything in God's hands. that exams begins on the
28th thru the 29th.then i'm thru with that and wait for the
results will be negative.
now answering your questions.. yes i had many good
japanese friends. in fact i was such a good athlete that i
was attracted to a few japanese male athletes wnd was quite
friendly with one particular japanese football scholar but i
left home after i finished u hawaii for china peking where
my oldest sister was making her home. then we moved to

tientsin where i taught english in nankai middle school. i
spent some 3 to 4 years teaching to middle school chinese
boys which i enjoyed teaching as they were the elite from
the many that were picked out to take my class.they were ver
very enthusiastic and well behaved. i had lots of fun with
them for they were eager to learn as much from a foreigner.
they wanted to know about hawaii and all other cities from
the u.s. i was really was not much use in that territory s i
had never left honolulu to know about the other
states.luckily my sister filled in what i did not know for
she had been in boston massachusetts as she was at boston u
well after spending some thirty years in china visiting many
cities and seeing lots of people who did not speak mu
language i learned their language fluently i have forgotten
mandarin so am back to cantonese. in the meantime i met
your yeh yeh at a tennis court as he was an tennis play er
where ever he went.. i wish that youwere her so i could go
to the many asian movies.so you are a full fledged
graduate and hold a full time job.congratulation and with
God's blessings better things are in store for you.it is
beginning to rain again.how does it affect you. i hope that
you are not flooded in. i regret that i will not see you
as often but you have your duties to perform to lead tour
life.however i hope that you send mails to me. i wish i were
with you to see that movie it soundss good and up my alley.
this is a long letter for when i get started,i can go on
and on and on. ha ha, long steaned ngin ngin.
