Subject: OJ Simpson...Guilty?

Well, as i'm sure you're now aware...

i found your goof. And a few people (www.suck.com,
and www.delphi.com) now know about it.

So...in the interest of good will, i'm willing to (no, sorry
not take down my page), but offer you a space to post an
"official reply".

Hope to hear from you soon...

What does Doh mean? Or do you mean Duh? Just asking. And thanks for the
extra hits.

My note back (is this getting old yet?)

Doh! Is the sound that Homer Simpson makes when he does something
stupid.

Hm...maybe i'll include a sound-bite. Check my page in about an hour.
Clicking on the "Doh!" will give you the sound (assuming you have the
appropriate player, etc. etc.)

Hope the hits helped. But now that you have neither the "NOT GUILTY!",
nor the "GUILTY" pages up, i've removed my link.

Hi Darryl,
Thanks for getting back to me and clarifying the Doh issue. I have your
site bookmarked, for obviuos reasons- we have to keep an eye on crazy
genius' like yourself- but I'll check out he sound clip if you get that
together.

In the mean time, I have no hard feelings about the whole guitly/not guilty
issue, and I actually appreciate the attention. I must say, however, I'm
peeved at the exageration that has proliferated as a result of your
quick reaction to this incident.

In the meantime, good luck to you and keep on hittin' Pathfinder.

The sound clip is there, and as far as the exaggeration.... Well,
that's the net for ya. Or maybe that's just human nature for ya.
Always fun to take shots at the big boys (i.e. you).

Best of luck to you as well. And you know i'll be watching your page
when the next big "either/or" news story comes up.  >:}

So, after posting the above, i decided to practice proper netiquette and ask for permission to do so:

Hey Michael...

Is it ok if i post up copies of our correspondence on my server? i like
to keep people updated, and let them know that you DID reply. (Which is
obviously better than just pretending i didn't exist. :})

Hi Darryl-

I got your last message after I split for the weekend.

Because of this medium's tendancy to exploit and exagerate, I think it
might be best if we keep this correspondance to ourselves.

And as far as being one of the big guys, well, we all have to work for a
living, si?

I'll get back to you soon on this.

aloha-

And that's the last i've heard from Michael.
